Why's she gotta yell at me like that??
I'm getting really frustrated that I can't figure this out, but how do you adjust the volume of the voice commands, it's about 3 times louder than the stereo volume. Makes me wanna smack that b*** up....

Next time she's talking, just turn your volume knob down. The Nav is set to degrees above or below the normal volume from the stereo, you must have it at max above, so it seems a lot louder. If you you turn it down while she's talking, it will keep it at that level the next time.

I just mute the whole thing, by the way. Mute button on the lower right of the screen. Can't stand voice prompts interupting things all the time.

With the radio on or off, don't think it matters... hold the music note button down for like 5 seconds. That will pull up a menu for volumes of the nav system, telephone and what not.

So to do it:
-Hold the music note button down for around 5 or 6 seconds
-Then use the volume knob to turn the volume up or down
-Press the music note to go to the next option

To get to the nav one, press the music note until you see nav volume, just turn it down there for good

Worked like a charm angasreid, thank you!
Boaz, turning down the volume while she's talking did nothing for the next time she spoke up - -at least on mine, but thank you.

By the way, why do you have the chick? I can't handle her voice... it reminds me of another needy woman I know...

 I often have a "GPMS" guidance system in the passenger seat too. Unfortunately, no mute or volume control can be found!
