After market stereo
I used a device from PAC... steering wheel interface. There is a one second lag, doesn't take long to get used to. You can find it from crutchfield. There is no way to make the stock changer work, sorry. -

Mechanical issues
The rims should be no problem. Watch your tire size, that's all. I had the same oil problem with my 03 disco and switched to castrol have synthetic and its been fine. -

Anyone replaced this on an 03 Disco? This is what I have so far: First empty the reservoir of old fluid, refill with fresh and bleed so the modulator is full of fresh clean LMA then swap out the Shuttle Valve then bleed again... Any place particular I should bleed from? Someone has mentioned a... -
Apple Ipod, 2001 Discov Install advice
Mine is the same way... less inviting for thieves too... If they see the cradle they are more apt to look for the Ipod even if you removed it. Works great and mine always recharges. Haven't taken my Ipod out of the glovebox in a month. -
Steering box leak - seal?
I have the same problem. The seals can be replaced, but EVERYONE has told me to replace the gear box. By the time that you get it out and replace the seals, might as well have replaced the box. Apparently, once it starts leaking replacing the seals becomes a regular occurrence. More than one... -

Changing Steering gear box..
Has anyone been down this road with an 03 disco? I have the parts and the manual and I have been in over under my truck quite a bit. Are there anythings to watch out for? Any suggestions??? -
After market subs with stock deck 2000 disco
Aftermarket subs can be acheived by several means. The first and easiest would be tap the line in off the stock amp and put your own amp and crossover in. Not sure what a "low end converter" is, some sort of subharmonic sythesizer? to give the feel of more bass? You can also ad a resitive... -
Gotta get em seperated! front rotors
The EBC do handle different I must admit. Once I cleaned the pistons well the pulling stopped. Mine pulled to the left too. 500miles does seem excessive but there was a "break in" layer on the pad... that must be why. Did you have an alignment recently? that could be the reason for the pulling... -
brakes
The brake and rotor thing is pretty easy. Just remember to dowse the rotor with a cutting agent lube, then clean everything with the brakes and come back to the rotor. Have an impact driver handy to get the screw loose holding the hub on. They use a dead blow hammer to get the hubs off... Let... -
