After market stereo
I used a device from PAC... steering wheel interface. There is a one second lag, doesn't take long to get used to. You can find it from crutchfield. There is no way to make the stock changer work, sorry. -

Mechanical issues
The rims should be no problem. Watch your tire size, that's all. I had the same oil problem with my 03 disco and switched to castrol have synthetic and its been fine. -

Apple Ipod, 2001 Discov Install advice
Mine is the same way... less inviting for thieves too... If they see the cradle they are more apt to look for the Ipod even if you removed it. Works great and mine always recharges. Haven't taken my Ipod out of the glovebox in a month. -
Steering box leak - seal?
I have the same problem. The seals can be replaced, but EVERYONE has told me to replace the gear box. By the time that you get it out and replace the seals, might as well have replaced the box. Apparently, once it starts leaking replacing the seals becomes a regular occurrence. More than one... -

Gotta get em seperated! front rotors
The EBC do handle different I must admit. Once I cleaned the pistons well the pulling stopped. Mine pulled to the left too. 500miles does seem excessive but there was a "break in" layer on the pad... that must be why. Did you have an alignment recently? that could be the reason for the pulling... -

The brake and rotor thing is pretty easy. Just remember to dowse the rotor with a cutting agent lube, then clean everything with the brakes and come back to the rotor. Have an impact driver handy to get the screw loose holding the hub on. They use a dead blow hammer to get the hubs off... Let... -

I just did the same upgrade and on my '03 with the same problem. Had to pull it back apart. One side of the caliper was sticking. I don't know if the D1 has the same calipers as the D2? But I stripped it down and cleaned it and actually took a c-clamp to open both pistons of and cleaned it... -

Just put springs and Shocks on my Disco II, it was damn easy and only took about an hour a wheel... Did breaks and rotors too... Love the ride and the performance. Noticeable difference immediately. Did the OME heavy duty and the Bilsteins. Wasn't that much money... -

Three times in the past week my ABS light and Traction Control light and the down hill warning light have all come on simultaneously. When I shut off the truck it resets. But I am assuming it has something to do with the ABS system???? -
