Only if there an option to disable the intelligent start/stop on the GAP tool. Mine is a 2012 so I've never looked for it.

Just fyi
Our 2015 would not pass emissions (TX) last April. Took it to LR. They said the dead ISS batt was preventing it from setting readiness monitors. Free new battery and it passed!
