So everything working quite well one day, next day ECO not working (and no dash light Yea!!). Not aux battery which checks good. So I break out the IID tools and first issue is wont connect after having downloaded/installed and update from GAP on my PC. After logging out of the GAP APP and removing/installing the tool, it finally connects, but indicates it is updating literally every component. After it finally stops I read faults only to see list of over a hundred faults on every unit in the vehicle!!! Yikes!
I cleared all faults and rescan. Now it comes up with 3 faults as seen in the first attachment. The 2 U code ones have been there forever and GAP as well as the dealer & Indy shop have all said ignore them. But the HCMP Headlamp one is new. And the error code U201A-57 indicates an issue with the High Beam Assist mirror system. I install a new mirror last year with the HBA system in it and changed the CCF to reflect that and it worked perfectly up until - apparently - a few days ago when the ECO stopped working. Im presuming the ECO not working is tied to this issue, as yesterday I used the mode button on steering wheel and went into the display dash settings and unchecked the box for HBA mode while driving. Lo and behold at next traffic light ECO worked. Parked for a doctor's visit, came out and started home and wouldn't you know it ECO not working again. Checked the HBA mode and box was still unchecked. So now I'm stumped. And I cannot clear that HBA error code. Changed the CCF back to not installed but that doesn't clear the error. Can it actually be something with the headlights which are working quite well?
Seems some software somewhere got changed and I'm wondering if it was in the most recent download from GAP, but they say no. Puzzled in sunny Florida.
