well.. as far as i can tell, mostly TSB or common issues.. here is a quick list.. 1) clogged sunroof drains 2) leaking wiper fluid res. (yet to be fully resolved) 3) hesitation after cold start (yet to be fully resolved) 4) emergency brake 5) cruise control sensor (yet to be resolved) 6) tire... -

dry_fly... i too am interested in figuring out the ice traction.. seems like the silent armours have gotten really good ratings on tirerack for ice traction.. price point on the coopers is pretty hard to beat tho -

nwoods - any chance those coopers saw some ice? given the tread depth and pattern they look like they would do fine in snow.. but, looks like there is also a lot of surface area without much sipping that could hinder icey, slushy driving? are they softer than the nittos you were wearing? - kz -

i bought a service loaner ( '06 lr3 se ) last december, before year end to get tax benefits.. seemed like a good deal as dealer took off about $15K from MSRP and it had about 5K miles on it.. no strange problems other than standard LR stuff.. -
Biltmore Estate
truck handled pretty well in the mud, considering it had the stock goodyears on it.. i was actually a bit concerned when we went down to, what i would consider, a bog (remember i am in CO :) .... but, other than sliding a bit towards some trees (fun when you are driving someone else's truck), it... -

i did the biltmore course in august. they had seen some rain earlier in the week so the course was quite muddy. haven't done the other two courses, but i had a blast.. as for the estate.. its grounds are totally awesome!! lots of fly fishing optys if you are into that.. plus an on-site winery.. -

i too have an 05 odyssey .. and an 06 lr3 .. the honda (which is supposed to have good build quality and longevity) has been in the shop about 20 times in two years.. my rover, on the other hand, has been in there maybe 6.. true the honda is a nice family hauler, but the longer we seem to own... -
leaking steering fluid
anyone experience leaking steering fluid on their LR3? brought mine in for the 15K service and for a parking brake fault and dealer found some leaking steering fluid.. oh, yeah, and they fixed the "park brake fault" with a part from a loaner.. seems strange to me.. -
under 15k miles, you get alignment and tires

Cruise Control Not Available
Nice new forum look! So,,,, I have been getting this intermittent "Cruise Control Not Available" message in the message center. I have the vehicle in the "std" terrain response mode, without hill descent on. In other words, I am driving down the highway and get the message.. Any thoughts? -
Dealer Handling of TSBs
Just wondering what type of experiences people have been having re: TSBs. I had to experience the transmission issue in order to convince my dealer to apply the software upgrade.. Wondering if anyone has a dealer proactively applying TSBs or if I, as the consumer, need to keep on top of these... -
leaking LR3
so.. colorado doesn't get much rain.. but three days ago we got nearly 3". i spent the day driving pretty constant in the rain.. towards mid-day, the A-pillars starting leaking and the head-liner became "soaked" where the A-pillar joins the roof. took it into the dealer and had them address... -
