Hello-
It's been a while since I've been here and I am in desperate need of assistance. I have recently re-located to the Jersey Shore, my rover "LR3" is having some air-suspension issues and I cant find a shop to work on my rover. I have even called the nearest dealer and they stated they...
I have both an LR3 and a Range Rover, living in Colorado I get the chance every week to take go off road. I switch which one I take each week. Sadly my RR being black has a lot more off road pin striping.
I run cooper zeon ltz 285/50/20's on the RR and they have been excellent. The RR is a...
I've got an '06 SE, when I drive it I get about 20mpg in mixed driving. 80 plus on the highway, late braking and fairly rapid acceleration. When my wife drives it she only gets in the low 16's. The longer I've had it the better the milage. 32k now. When I put new tires on it the milage...
It's just saying hello. I am on my 3rd and 4th rovers and every one has had a problem within the first month of ownership. My '06 lr3 has been very reliable. This is most likely not a big problem. At least as far as cost.
The problem could be several things. If it was my truck I would...
Are you sure the truck isn't moving, causing the motion sensor to trip. I discovered a EAS leak because every night around 3-4 am my alarm would go off. Turned out the suspension would sag suddenly when the air temp got cool enough. Both fgront bags had small leaks.
Try disabling the...
Hope you have room for one more. If things open up I should be able to join you also, I'm in Longmont.
Where are you thinking of leaving from?
Not to hijack, but are any of you doing the rafting trip with LR Flatirons?
any one have any ideas for a ride west of boulder on sunday 3/15, an easy one i can take the wife and dogs on?
i know left-hand canyon is ok, but the squeeze part is to much for the wife to stand.
looking more for fire or forest service roads.
thanks for any imput.
remember on these and most AWD cars/trucks it is recomended to replace all 4 tires at the same time when u switch brands or style because of changes in size, even if the tire is marked the same ie255/50r20 it may be different from a different mfg.
this will completly throw off the truck and...
I just put nitto grapplers on my LR3 and I know its been said but WOW what a difference. The truck now drives straight down the road and it doesnt want to go left and right under braking. I had the alignment done before the tire change also.
Everyone says change out the crap stock tires...
my '06 lr3 just completed a quick out and back from denver to chicago, it ran great and got 18 mpg for the trip. it was snowing when i left chicago and the roads were ice and snow covered all the way to nebraska with countless cars and truck wrecked on the road side. even with the junk stock...
To be polite, it's not a toyota. It might last but the cost of up keep will be much higher. Extend the warranty as long as you can. Even if it seems to costly.
With out a warranty these cars will nickle and dime you.
But at the same time I currently own a FFRR and a LR3, plus I've...
I have an '04 range rover and a '06 lr3 v8, I have tried both low and high test. We get better milage using the cheap stuff. About 3 tenths on average.:stupid:
Having owned 4 rovers, an '94 range, a '02 disco, a '05 range and a '06 lr3 is never buy a used non-rover certified one. The misc. little things can and will offset any savings you would get from buying from a non-rover dealer. GOOD LUCK
