    Having had the problem. It is most likely the fan on the ecu, you should hear the sound coming from the passenger side of the dash. Good luck.

    the $27000 question

    Having owned 4 rovers, an '94 range, a '02 disco, a '05 range and a '06 lr3 is never buy a used non-rover certified one. The misc. little things can and will offset any savings you would get from buying from a non-rover dealer. GOOD LUCK
