I've got nitto 285/60/19 on the LR3 and cooper LTZ's 285/50/20's on the FFRR.

I do prefer the coopers.

Weekend road trip to southern Indian from Chicago a few weeks ago 19.9 mpg on the trip computer...and it wouldn't budge lol. If I would of just had an extra 25 miles without traffic on the I-57 coming back to chigao I could have made it too 20mpg...all that with a half day of wheeling...but 16 mpg in town is the norm. My 92X with a 2.0L Turbo Boxer only gets 20 in town if Im light on the throttle can't complain about 16-20 from the LR3

If I set the cruse at 55 and 70 seems to be sweet spots on mine.

This is crazy... When i lived in Dallas for a year, i had no problem getting 18-20mpg on highways and 12-14 city. Now in Miami after a year, i can barely reach 15 mpg on long trips across the state, with or without a Yakima rack with fairing and thule box.. I don't get it...

you guys all seem to do better than I do

on my HSE with stocker wheels and tires, I get 12 on a good day around town... 16 on the highway if I watch it carefully. i live in nashville -- alot of stop and go, alot of hills.

i cant even imagine getting 20 !

i guess i should check my air filter and my tire pressures (which i pretty much do every month anyways)

I swear mine gets better mpg as I drive faster. I get a steady 17.4 in my everyday running around home without any freeways. If I get on a freeway and run at 70 or 75 I get a steady 20.2 mpg. Did an off road low-range couple of hours over the weekend and that produced 14.3 mpg.

We're doing a six-hour run to the Outer Banks on Saturday. I'll check mileage again.

I drive about 50/50 highway and streets. Average about 13.5 on the onboard computer which has been pretty accurate when I do the math myself. 20 would be an incredible improvement.
