I checked and I believe the wire color is green with a black stripe or vise versa. As far as the radio goes have her turn the truck off lock the doors for about a minute and unlock and restart the truck. The audio system should come back on-line if it doesn't the audio amplifier may be going bad.
Have you tried the electronic tailgate unlock on the dash? If you hold down the unlock and lock button on the dash the tailgate should pop. Also have someone push down on the tailagte while unlocking it with the remote. If something is under the latch/catch preventing it from closing all the way...
trm2,
If you ever find yourself in that position again get a screwdriver and close the door latch on the end of the door and the truck will think the door is closed and the air suspension will operate again.
When you get the new clips they come as one piece. You remove all the female peices from the door. Once the door is clean install the whole new clips into the moulding, line it up and pop it into position. You shouldn't have to slide anything into position.
You might have a problem in the wiring harness in the right front floor. If you remove the tread strip on the right hand side at the front door. Under it you will find a bundle of wires there is a splice connection that corrodes and become and open short to ground and your remotes will not work...
Depending on what lighting package you have on your LR4 will determine if the LED lights are active or not. If you have Xenon lights the LED's are active if you have regular projector halogen headlamps your LED's are not.
It sounds like you have a fan clutch going bad and sticking on. A new clutch should run you about 548.00 for the part. I don't know about it being a DIY kind of job because it comes with the fan and the wrench you need most DIY-ers don't usually have. As for the cruise control not working: I...
You might want to replace the sway bar bushings. The new design bushings have a cloth-like webbing on the inside to help retain the grease. A supurb grease to use can be found in a good Porsche shop. When replacing front and rear torsion arm bushings on older 911's they use "Weltmeister Bushing...
I have seen this before, check the a/c - heater blower resistor. The part will run you about 110.00. It's located behind the glove box in the blower housing. Kind os a silver box with a bunch of spikes on one side.
I have seen this happen before and we ended having to get a rear view mirror attachment kit made by "permatex" I think the part # is 11067-2. That stuff worked great.
I would recommend stopping by the dealership and picking up all new clips otherwise it will just pop off again. I think there are 14 of them and I think they were about 2.50 each. 35.00 is a whole lot cheaper than replacing the entire moulding when it comes off going down the highway and someone...
Houm: The noise you are hearing is unfortunately all to common. Had you gotten rear brakes on your truck in the last couple months? What happens is when they install new brake rotors the parkiing brake shoes drag on the new rotors thus wearing them down and they get to a point where the parking...
Try this: go into the settings screen and on the left side of the screen where it list "sat info", "direct channel input" there is a 3rd input. I'm not sure how it reads but it might say delete channel or skip channel, go into that option and enter channel 184 which I think is the channel you...
Most likely whats happening is the engine is leaking coolant into the combustion chamber during cooldown thus creating an air pocket in the cooling system. Once you get an air pocket in a freelander engine it will constantly boil the coolant when trying to circulate. You said you had head...
