Oil level check
Are you trying to check it electronically? If so, I was told by my service dept that the US vehicles don't come equipped with that feature. You still check the oil the old fashioned way using the dipstick. -

Owner events typically take place where LR has their LR Experience Driving Schools. Some are dealer sponsored ( they cover the cost) and others require payment. Either way, they have food and lead you out in your own car on a course they have predetermined. They also usually have competitions... -

Ironically, although I am much closer to SJ I bought mine in Redwood City! I did the private off road session with one of their LR4s. I haven't been to an owner event yet, but would also like to when I get the chance. My instructor took me on one of the courses they set up for the owner events. -

I do live in the SF Bay Area - the South Bay in LG. Where are you? I completely recommend going to the driving school if you live any where near one. It was fun, plus really informative. I really feel like I have a much better command of the LR4 now than I did before. -

You most likely have to press the button on the actual motor for the garage door opener inside your garage...if it has rolling codes, this sends a firm code while programming. The directions on how to do it are in the manual. -

LR4 Halogen Bulb Upgrading - Highly Recommended
Just checked and my 2011 doesn't have the side markers either. I turned the dial to all settings, doesn't come on in any of them. There is something in there that looks like a little silver ball where the bulb should be. -

Rush of air after shutting off Lr4
I bet that's what it is...the suspension leveling out. It doesn't do it everytime, but when it does it sounds like a hiss or rush of air, like you described. -

2011 landrover lr4 gas milage?
I have 1700 miles on mine and no matter what I do I cannot get better than 14.7 mpg. I drive almost exclusively within our little town, maximum of 40 miles an hour...not sure if I'd show better numbers with highway miles. -

How do I know my PIN for vehicle?
The bluetooth pin for all Land Rovers/Range Rovers is 2121. This info is also located in the manual! Enjoy the new ride! -

Bike rack + parking sensor
Still-one, I am curious what your build date is and if you have the rear camera? My 2011 built 1/11 only has the rear camera and rear sensors, no front sensor and the button to turn off sensors is blank. Just curious to know when they made the change over to rear camera only. Thanks! -

Baobay, My 2011 HSE, non LUX model, does not have a front sensor. Something I truly miss from the LR3 I was driving for awhile. I think they removed it to justify/encourage purchasing of the surround assist camera system, which I did not choose. So, the old fashioned way works for me now... -

I agree with Rob, there is no play at all with my hitch receiver. It is rock solid. There isn't anything to take apart if you want to reseat it...just use your key to unlock, turn the latch, slide it out and then put it back in and release the latch again. It's akward and heavy, but should go...
