Good day folks, I recently got a hold of a LR Disco 2 that "just quit running" the previous owners are elderly and didn't wanna play with it anymore. Beautiful truck, never worked on 1 but I have worked on Hondas and Acuras. I wanna revive this baby and use it. engine oil looks clean, theres power, starter turning but engine will not turning over. If I may add, tailpipe does not smell like gas after cranking attempts, once again, Im new to this LR game, any suggestions and/or opinions will be greatly appreciated

How many miles on it, is the service engine light on, if so what are the fault codes numbers and how mchanical are you.

If the engine is truly not turning over it my be hydro locked, remove the spark plugs and try again. If it turns over and spays fuel or water or whatever all over the engine bay then you found your issue.
Being an 03 it could have had the oil pump fail which would **** the engine...but you cant say for sure without looking into the obvious stuff first.
