Battery has died a couple of times on my Land Rover Discovery - 2003.. Found that when the vehicle is turned off the radio can still be turned on. Maybe reason for battery dying. 35,000 miles on it. Everything else works without a problem. What could be the problem?

Is the radio an aftermarket or factory radio?

It is a factory radio/cd player

I was really hoping you said aftermarket... but it could be someone has hard wired the radio to be on, unless this has been yours since new and you know it hasn't be done...
