Hi Everyone. I would like to get some opinions, or insight as to a good place to service my 2012 LR4, if outside the usual dealership is an option that is.. Red Hook is an hour away from Albany, NY (where a LR dealership is.. with not such good reviews) and an hour and a half away from LR in the city (Mt. Kisco, NY). My LR4 has 57k on it, and it has never given me any major problems, just the usual maintenance. However, when I went on vacation last year, my brake warning light came on halfway there (I should have done a quick check before I went, I know), coming from FL. So, when I got to my destination in NY, I realized that there was not a good, reputable option to service my LR, and had to drive almost two hours to the city. Painful. Now, I am going to be up there for a while to be with my family and am struggling to make a decision about parting with my LR4, because there is not a geographically accessible place to service it. Each time I visit, I hardly ever see Land Rovers around. I've owned 3 Rovers and took for granted that my local LR dealer spoiled me (LR's are everywhere in Tampa), and I have never deviated from dealer repair because I know LR's are fickle vehicles.
