Just traded in (sort of against our will) a 2010 LR4 HSE Lux for a 2012 LR4 HSE Lux. Basically, there were electrical probs with the 2010 that LR couldn't fix... and we all gave up. I got a new ride for a total steal. (same color, etc)
Anyways... just got it this weekend. Both were/are premium leather. But I could swear that the premium leather in the 2010 was way nicer than what's in the 2012. For example... the sides of the headrest on the 2012 are not leather... they were in 2010. Stitching is different too - it was finer, better seeming on the 2010 than the new 2012.
I can compare it to my 2008 RRS Supercharged, which has the better leather too, and it's nicer than the 2012 (and was exactly the same as in the 2010 LR4). Has anyone else noticed this / can confirm ?
