In true spirit of this forum, they will be coming off this weekend.

I didn't want to say anything negative since you just picket it up. But I am glad you are going to remove those "wings". Heck, maybe you can sell them to some city-dweller. ;-) Best if you take them off than for a rock or tree doing so.

Sorry that I can't remember, but did you have an LRx before? I'll be interested in your impressions whether it is your first or a significant upgrade.

Yes, we had a 2014 LR4 which blew its oil cooler earlier this year.
