Ha, I actually started this thread! Anyway, I've been using the metal front crossover/y-pipe for ~ 3 years now with no problem. I don't know if my mechanic used the o-rings that came with the product or if he substituted OEM.

If I ever need to replace the rear again, I'll see what happens with the metal version of that.
