That's great, @adamsanta85 ! Now if we could just start assembling the same for the SCV6. Would it be at all helpful for me to make an invitation-accessible Google sheet with this info on it on two different tabs? (V8 and V6)

Here’s my list for the SCV6 from a prior thread:

Parts List
LR090630 - Redesigned “water manifold” part of front crossover
LR092992 - Redesigned “water pipe” (Y-pipe) part of front crossover that goes into the block
LR122710 (previously LR109401) - Manifold - Heater (Rear crossover pipe)
LR097165 - Water pump assembly
LR028136 - Oil cooler tube (goes on the back of water pump)
LR095895 - Thermostat Kit
LR041681 (x2) - Intake manifold gaskets (need two of these)
LRxxxxxx - Drain plug for front crossover - need to purchase separately - don’t have number

Other parts if you want to replace more hoses connected to t-stat/crossover, belts
LR050855.- Lower radiator hose (includes T-stat to hose adapter and coolant temp sensor)
LR033994 - Outlet tube
LR049990 - Inlet tube
LR071040 - Supercharger drive belt (note - there appear to be two sizes with different lengths - make sure you get the correct size for your model year)
LR051263 - Serpentine belt

Part numbers are from last summer (except for the rear crossover - that was updated per a post in this thread).

This is great! Anybody have a good source for these parts? My go-to, Rock Auto, doesn't seem to have a lot of these.
  • REIN CHE0638 crosses over to LR049990 - Inlet tube
  • SKP SK121450 crosses over to LR122710 (previously LR109401) - Manifold - Heater (Rear crossover pipe)
I think that's about it.

Be careful with brand names. Rein is a reboxer and there's no guarantee the part is OEM kwality, let alone OEM. While I buy select items from Rock Auto, they carry a very wide selection of garbage.

At a minimum, don't shop based on price. OE/dealer (aka Genuine Land Rover) is generally the best bet if you can't guarantee the part is OEM.

I've used LR Tampa (FL) and Merriam (Kansas). LR Tampa offers free shipping over $99 so they've been my go-to the last few times I needed OE parts. FCP Euro has lifetime warranty but may have limited selection, same with RM European (but no lifetime warranty).

Agree with GSXR. Some of the online dealer websites have great prices - sometimes half of what the same dealer charges at the parts counter. It’s crazy. I’ve seen dealer website prices that are cheaper than FCP. So, check out your local dealers’ websites too - if the price is decent, you should be able to order online and pick up at the parts counter to avoid shipping charges.

I second GSXR. When I did my engine rebuild I got 90% of the parts from LR Merriam in Kansas. They had great Customer service. More than once I spoke by phone to their parts reps who were very knowledgeable even helping find specific engine internal parts.

There is absolutely so much aftermarket auto part junk that it is difficult to **** through and find the good stuff. I'm very cost conscious, but I have also found LR parts through Merriam to be within reason most of the time.

I know I've said this before, but Land Rover Merriam is my local Land Rover dealer and they won't let me buy from their online parts website because I live too close.

That said, they are a great dealer.
