Bought our 2015 LR4 HSE earlier this year. Don't have any previous owner(s) maintenance records so not sure when the main battery was replaced. The label on top seems to indicate near barcode it was made in 3/21. Couldn't find any other markings. Anyone know if the date indicates actual MFG of the battery or could it be just when label was printed? If it is MFG date I may just replace it soon as batteries here in FL don't seem to last as long with the heat & constant extra AC use. Anyone know if that label mark is actual date of MFG?

TIA...

I have been through something like six batteries on my 2010 LR4.

Agree with the FL heat tax. When in doubt just replace it. When it goes, it will go at the most inconvenient time.

Concur with the group - swap batteries.

One issue with them (amongst many!) is heat. I have lived in two extreme heat and corrosion environments - which wrecked two.

My approach is if I start having any issues - I just get a new battery.

900 CCA is nice, mine is only 850 CCA, 140 RC. and 80AH and its a factory replacement. So if you do get a new battery then you could probably upsize to whatever would physically fit in there. I didn't think about that when I bought mine.
