can you visually see a dropped sleeve?

Does anyone know how to tell if you have a dropped sleeve? I have the head off an I can see the cylinder in question but it looks perfect to me. Im working on a 96 disco 4.0 with 140k on it. I did a compression and leak down test on this cylinder and the comp was 90psi(the others were 145/150) and the leak down was 80%. I could hear the pressure coming out the valve covers. I didnt hear anything thru the exhaust or the plentum.

If you physically can not see the sleeve has moved... i.e. they are all the same, then I would say it is you lucky day... go get a cup of coffee and celebrate.

Then drive down and have the head checked, have the valves and springs checked... and you just saved some money.
