Chrome color grille? Naah. Gray on BLACK looks so much better!

my 08 Land Rover LR3 HSE with newly installed Range Rover type honeycomb grille in gray color. Wife said she's getting good looks while driving it to work since yesterday. Even the Range Rover guys does a double take. I've seen Range Rovers (forgot which year) that have plain gray grilles and are not honeycomb. My sidemarkers are smoke color- with LED lights. I changed my license plate bulbs to LED's too.

My 06 BMW X5 4.4i sport- is DINAN tuned, with an FMU Hi-Flow Cold Air Intake and x-pipe.

As long as my wife let's me do a little tweaking on our cars- I am happy!

It looks like the LR4 grille.

almost looks like it..; LR4 has 2 honeycomb lines on the top. But if you look at it.. it's not as detailed or has many holes as this one. and the framework around the grille of the LR4 is color matched to the body.

Land Rover emblem is OEM. I paid $34 free shipping in eBay. seller - the.attic.market. Took 2 days from Ohio. Cant believe dealer sells the emblem for $58 plus tax.

I did the upgrade- I call it an upgrade cause everytime I look at the LR3, it looks so boxy and narrow looking viewing from front.

With this honeycomb grille, it looks wider, streamlined and more stylish. Not plain looking now IMO.
1st time posting here. Hope I can motivate some guys here to do the change like me.
The gray color contrast worked on my black color LR3 for sure. Cheers!

I think I am sold on that grille. Can you not use the existing emblem? Does it fit snug and good as it's supposed to?

I tried prying the old emblem, but man oh man. that double stick tape sure does hold still. I almost ruined the edge of the old emblem. Made me decide buying the new emblem. and YES, the new emblem is concave so it is Perfect molded fit!

I bet it will look bad ass in your Tonga green too. You know what I did? I took a picture front view of my truck.. copied a gray grille photo on ebay, photoshop, attached to the front of that pic- it looked cool.. that sold me. ikonmotoring does take back returns.. I called em. Just in case I didnt like how it looks.
