Coal springs…. Which way up?

I have just brought some replacement rear springs for my 1990 19j defender, they are genuine heavey duty. Im just wondering which way up they go…. Might seem a bit odd but they have come with a plastic wrap around one of the coils… does this go at the top or the bottom? Or do you remove it as it is only there for packing? I think I have added some photos so you can see

I also have brought some bilstine b4 dampers, they have 2 mounting bushes at the bottom…. Is this normal? And if so how do they fit?
