I have a 2005 LR3 V8SE w/ 61K. The front control arm bushings have needed to be replaced for last 2 years. Finally getting them fixed next week. Does anyone have any input on the "synthetic" control arm bushings that are a supposed permanent fix to the lame quality of the manufacturers control arm bushings? My Rover people are charging $300 more for the synthetics (total cost $1500). Is that reasonable? Thanks for your input.
