Hey landrover fans. I am a new landrover owner but my landrover is not new. I own a 1985 county 110 with the petrol v8. My transfer case was leaky and now a bearing has seized and from what iv been told the idler gear arm? Has broken out through the back of the case so now I need a new transfer case or to fix this one. Can anyone offer any advice or sum knowledge on my problem please.....?

Welcome to the forum... first are you in the USA or elsewhere? This will help determine who to send you for parts to...

Yeah thanx for the reply. I'm in Australia. I was wondering what I call the transfer case( if it has any other names or can any other model rover transfer case be compatible and bolt up. Also, iv been told that I can't only change the transfer I have to change the gearbox and transfer all together. Is that true? Are they inseperable?
