Discovery 2004 Se Oil Light Came up

hi,

today an funny(or not) thing happend ive start the car and the pil light came up.
ok ive shut the engine down and turn it back again.

i sew that it didnt go away so i chacked the oil level and it was a little bit more that the lower line.
so i went and got the castrol 10w 40 full synt.
pour half of it till it was in the right level.

but then engine start knocking strangley.
tok tok... ;-)

so ive turn it on for couple more times nothing changed and the oil level is fine.

what going on?

Do NOT try and start the engine again, for any reason. Do you have a mechanic other then the dealer, if so call him and have the truck towed to his shop. Once you get an estimate, get back to us with what is wrong and the cost so we can make sure he is not over charging you.
