I wanted to forget the eco battery as well on our 2015. However, there was some power problem with an ECL illuminated. The dealer replaced the battery as the cause of the ECL preventing it from passing inspection. Just sayin’

Our ECO battery has been dead for over a year now, no other issues, other than the analog clock that somtimes is 30min or 1 hour behind for a few minutes once or twice now. Seems to catch back up after a re-start. Not sure if this is even related, but if it is, not worth a $300 battery to fix.
