I have a 2006 LR3 se. It has 64,000 miles and the engine light came on. The codes that came up were “P0174 BANK 2 SYSTEM TOO LEAN. I have been reading on forums and believed it is the MAF. So I'm a little confused, can anyone help

Can also be a vacuum leak, failing 02 and yes, the MAF.
Wait till it gives you more codes so you can know for sure.

Thanks Mike for quick replay. Do you know where I should start looking first? Is there anyway to turn off the lights? I drove around 30 miles with the lights on and this is the only code that the local parts store gave me. How long do I have to wait until I get another code? Thanks

How is the truck driving, rough at all?
If it were mine, I would drive it a little harder, like full throttle excelerations from a stop sign or something, just don't get a ticket.
Pushing the engine harder will force the ECU to look closer and possibly bring up the real code causing the lean run.Normally if the MAF is the cause, you would also get a 733 or 734 tranny fault code to go along with the lean code.
In the mean time, don't clean or do anything with the MAF.

Thanks Mike for replay.
I already cleaned my MAF sensor yesterday, and I don't think it was dirty. 8 months ago I cleaned my fuel injection throttle body and last service 3 months ago they put 44 cleaner in my gas tank. So I assume fuel and air should be okay. Yesterday I made a trip around 200 miles on my way home, I stopped for 20 minutes. After I stopped car again, the lights came on. I don't see any difference when accelerating or driving. Everything seems to be normal. I start the car this morning and everything seems to be okay except the light is still on. Thanks.

Should not have cleaned the t/body, that usually kills our style of Bosch MAF.
Wait for more codes to find the problem.

I did some driving around like you said, and I don't feel nothing is wrong with the car. I stop by auto zone and asked the guy to check my code. He checked it and said that he couldn't find a code but the light is still on. So I went down the street to advanced auto parts and asked them to re-check. They found two codes and both are the same P0174 BANK 2 SYSTEM TOO LEAN. Is it possible that the car doesn't have an issue but there is a code storage in computer? The first guy who checked it for code showed me the device that says on each line "okay". The second guy scrolled the screen all the way to the bottom and showed me two codes. I am now confused.

No, it does have a issue, problem is not all the codes come up at the same time. With time you'll see another code that will give you a better idea about what is going on, give it time as long as it it running smoothly.

You are in too much of a hurry and must have money burning a hole in your pocket, be patient and give the truck time to give you another primary code.
