Finally eliminated (275/65R18) tire rub at frame horn

I am having the same horn rub problem too! Just installed 18" BMW 162s with Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac 275/65R-18 and I am also rubbing on the horns! Everyone said 275/65/18 would fit with only having to trim the plastic on the front... Which I did. Going to try welding/machine shop tomorrow.

Hey mate any chance you have photos of which part you trimmed and how much ?

These are the only pics I have on my phone. You can do what the OP did: cut off frame horns and weld a blank back on. Or, be lazy like me and notch, remove some bulk, and bend / hammer the frame horns into the frame.
