Fuel pump or Injectors????

Is there an easy way to tell if insufficient pressure at my fuel rail is a result of leaking injectors or a tired fuel pump without pulling out or replacing either?

I have mid twentys pressure while running and mid teens while shut down.

any and all help appreciated

It's possible that you have a dirty fuel filter. Just curious, but how are you getting your fuel pressure readings? It's also possible that the fuel regulator is at fault.

I've replaced the filter recently.

I'm taking the pressure readings at the rail.

I don't believe that your problem is the fuel pump. It sounds to me that it's probably the regulator. BTW, if you are only getting "mid twenties" fuel pressure, you are running lean....this explains why the vehicle is not happy.
Do this, to test the fuel regulator. With the engine running, disconnect the vacuum hose from the fuel regulator. The fuel pressure should increase around 10psi. If there is no change, then the fuel regulator is faulty, or, you have a leak in the vacuum line.

With a 167k on the Disco, unless you have ever changed the fuel pump, I would say that is going to be the problem.... the fuel regulator could be faulty, but not many fuel pumps last forever....

After checking the regulator if you can't find the issue.... start looking at the fuel pump....
