Anyone know if these mean the same thing? My PCM software is up to date so GAP was like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ when I asked about re-flashing the PCM via Fast Lane

Adaptive values are related to variable systems---throttle position for idle, fuel injector pulse rate, a/F ratio and fuel trims, etc.

The updated pcm software updates program tables and values based on observed necessity. The adaptive values adjust the programmed values in the pcm to ensure smooth performance as parts wear, air leaks occur, etc.
