I just had to have the compressor and the water pump replaced in my 2005 LR3 with only 27000 miles.
Has anyone experienced this problem at such low mileage? I asked the dealer and he said since this was such a new model they really don’t know if it is uncommon or not, sounds a little suspect to me…

Thanks
Greg

If you are referring to the compressor for the air suspension, there was an LR service campaign (B034) to replace this component on most MY2005 LR3's You may want to confirm if that was completed.

I have a 2005 LR3 V8 and live in Texas. I am at 62500 miles and have not had to replace either of these items. Knock on wood.

Was the water pump leaking? Did the engine overheat? Was the A/C not functioning?

Also just curious, were you out of warranty due to vehicle age?
