Help...I cant figure out this misfire

ok sorry joey i kno you and i are kind of talking about the same issue on two different threads, it actuallt started doing it like 2 days after i bought it, yes its throwing p1316 and it misfires all the time, when i start it it runs at around 1700-2000, then ones it warms up it will drop to 1000-1100 and and the whole truck like stutters, then when i put it in gear (all gears including reverse), it drops to 500-750 and sounds like its going to die. when im accelerating it lags a lot and it goes up 2500rpm and barely accelerates. I even have 90yr old women in the oldmobile passing me. once i get up to highway speeds 55-65, i can feel it miss. im not sure if this helps give a better understanding.

Ok, now we are getting somewhere. I would love for you to get a compression test and leak down test to make sure your Disco has not overheated and dropped a sleeve or has a set of bad valves. Either way it is not a good thing.

I hope that it is not either, but you might want to prepare for the worst.
