On my 94 Disco I have a strange problem when I shift from Drive to Reverse my radio turns off. This happens 70 % of the time. Is there something in the center console that might have come loose?! I know there could be a hundred things that might be causing this but I hope someone has had a similar problem and was able to rectify it. Also when I switch to th cd changer it blinks and doesn't play some times it even skips the changer option, but once in a while it actually works! Go figure any way thanks in advance for any help !!!!

ps I have a stock radio that might help !

Sounds like a short in a ground, but I don't know how shifting into reverse would make a difference.

You may also want to check your battery, but the under seat ground my be a good place to check.
