Hood doesn't open, Disco II 2000

I can't open my hood. I think it is the cable that may be stretched.
Did anyone have this problem? Any advise would be appreciated.

On a different note, congrats to those that make this forum possible.

Stuck hood can be a pain... and the cable tends to Stretch.. I would buy a new cable or be prepared to think about it.

To open, try having someone inside pull the lever and one outside kind of lift/push against the hood. This should help work things loose and the hood should open.

When you get it open lube everything up, and check for excess play adjust if you can.
