Horn sound when locking the car with the remote

Is there a way to have the horn sound when locking the car with the remote? My wife is used to having the horn sound in addition to the lights flashing when she locks the car. Is there a way to do that with a 2008 LR3?

Sure, leave a door open or the rear hatch open.

Seriously - the LR3 works the opposite of your wife's previous vehicle. It will beep if all the doors and rear hatch are not fully closed. She will have to get used to using her eyes instead of her ears to see the lights flash when locking the LR3.

I'm so glad it doesn't honk or beep... BUT, isn't there an option to turn on a beep notification when locking? I thought if you cycle through the info menu on the dash you get to something. Ahh well, have a look. And be happy that you don't have to listen to the car beep every time someone locks it up at night.
