How to reset the temperature light

Hey guys I am replaceing my transferr case due to other issues... Bit when the problem happened my temperature sensor went off... Once I put the new t case in how do I reset t so that it does not stay on , on the instrument panel.

Are your temps showing in F degrees or C degrees?
Or are you saying the a/c control shuts off on you?

Mike its a light on the instrument panel. It's red, top left of panel, looks like a thermometer.. thislight came on when I had my t-case mess up on me... And from what I read and found out it a temperature sensor.

If the light won't clear with a scanner then you have a bad temp switch, either on the t/case or the tranny.
