How Viscous would a viscous clutch get

How viscous would a viscous clutch get if a viscous clutch could get viscous????

So I had my Radiator rodded out today and a few small leaks fixed in my radiator and I decided to see how stiff the viscous fan clutch got over the range of temps.

Well it spins but offers very little resistance when cool and when the truck has been running for a while and is actually pretty hot but not overheating it is pretty firm but I can stop it with a wadded up rag if I make some effort. With the motor of it is stiff but I can turn it with my hand.

Should I be getting more resisitance than this? How Much?

Sounds about right, but keep in mind it can go at any time, or not at all....
