Do you get InControl Remote with InControl apps? (Can u see location/ fuel level / locked status of car?) Or are the apps a separate thing?

I got InControl Apps and InControl Remote and Protect. They are sold seperately.
Remote and Protect is pretty neat but nothing ground breaking. It is lacking the ability to send a signal to lock and unlock doors (which I have in my curent RAM truck, but I will not pay for that UConnect App remote service once the trial is up, not worth it) and the InControl remote and protect does not have remote start ability for my vehicle. However it is coming out in 2016, so I totally got jipped on that.
