The diesel engine breathes from one side only, IIRC. Which is why the snorkel is N/A to us.

I have to add that I do not understand why LR could not manufacture the symmetrical piece, it would have required pretty much no design or actual work and allowed North Americans to have access to the snorkel. We all know many people would purchase it just for looks and other would actually have some use for it at times.
Both past times I went off road I noticed a fair amount of mud accumulating in the air intakes not enough to really be worried but still.

Very nice! I just wonder how that additional height would affect the center weight gravity of the vehicle, making it unstable under normal, higher speed driving conditions.
