Hey Guys, long time no talk.

I just had a tuneup done on the disco and when my mechanic was checking my oil leak (just the gasket on the oil tank) he noticed my power steering hose was wet and sweating. Not a lot but it was noticable to him.

Any suggestion other than replacing that damn expensive hose?

When you say sweating, do you mean PS fluid leaking or acually comming through the hose?

Normally the low pressure hoses leak due to cheap clamps. The high pressure hoses can be made at just about any quality Hydrualic Shop... Cheap I might add.

I replaced the low pressure hoses via Napa... Some Heavy duty oil resistant hose about $5 a foot if I recall correctly... verses the $80+ the dealer wanted :)

He didn't look too much so i'm not too sure if it is a leak through the hose or the clamps.

More then likely it is the cheap hose clamps that is your issue. Less then $5 to fix, not sure what they cost in Canada... In the USA less then $3 will fix this issue.
