As an update I got the Walmart H8 AGM battery and it fit very nicely in 2014 LR4. I just had to shove the negative side out of the way and dropped in the battery and then aligned it up - very easy stuff. The terminal connector loops were a bit rusty so I used a wire brush and they cleaned up well. After the battery was installed I used my generic scan tool to do the battery reset procedure - it asked me like 4 times to go in to accessory mode - then turn off the car etc. The start stop which has not been working for a while started to work again. Unfortunately my simple generic scan tool does not let me set the battery type from h7 to h8 so I'll leave it at that unless I can find someone kind with the GAP IID tool in Seattle but chances are slim.
