HELP! ...please. I have a 1995 LRD 3.9 When it is in idle, it runs fine. When I drive, it runs fine. When I go to stop, it wants to die and most of the time it does unless I give a it a little more gas to keep it going.

Could this be my altenator going bad or I have a bad battery? Thanks for any help!

Welcome to the forum.. sounds like the TPS or IAC is dirty... a good cleaning should clear this up... could also be the throttle body is dirty.

A little more info on the vehicle will help... mileage, last tune up, type of plugs you use, fuel type you run.

All info helps.
