I have an LR4 2010 with 33,000 miles. I bought it new. I had to change the original tires before a year. My husband researched and we put a different type of tire hoping to get more use out of them. However, after only 8 or 9 months my back tires are showing a lot of wear to the point they almost need to be changed again. Could someone recommend good tires that will last longer?
Thanks,
Rhonda

Rhonda,

I would re-post this in the technical section for LR4. That being said, I would have the dealer check out the rear alignment, it seems weird that the back would wear so fast. Then again, 33K miles on a 2010 is a little out of the ordinary too.

Thanks Marty,

I've had the truck 18 months. I also have 4 boys still at home, one being a teenager, so I do a lot of running. I've had the alignment and balance checked twice right after I had them put on by the place that installed them and once at the dealer. They both told me it checks out fine but I told them it doesn't drive the same as before I changed the tires. Something has to be wrong though. What is so baffling to me is before the LR4 I had an LR3 and at 27,000 was the 1st time I had to change tires. Just wondering why these are wearing so fast because even the left rear tire is substantially worn.

I would have to agree. Something seems wrong.

Again, please post this in the technical section for LR4, there are some seriously smart people over there that might be able to help you out a lot better than I.
