lr4 v6 electric thermostat not open

i rebuild the engine lr4 v6 i change all water hoses and links
start the engine for 3 hours and try it on high way for 20 min the thermostat still no open hose under thermo linked with thermo still cold also lift side of radiator is hot and right side is cool even the electric thermostat is new and genuine

Have you sort the problem? I have the same issue, after replaced a genuine thermostat. The upper hose is hot and the lower hose is cold!!!

There was a bad production run, on these thermostats. I would change it out.

About six months ago, there was a stop production order on the thermostats. We couldn't even get them.
Some customers went with the aftermarket option, just to get their vehicles done.

Engine would overheat and a significant temperature difference between the inlet and outlet pipes at the t-stat.
