Obd D1?

So i was supposed to go on a big ride today, but my truck crapped out yesterday & I am stuck at home reading old posts...
I came across one about D1's having a box under the passenger seat with LED display showing trouble codes??
Ive got a 99 D1, would I have this box? The post said it was for OBD1, but im pretty sure OBD2 came in 97...
My truck is at the shop, which is why im asking instead of going out & looking!

OBDII came out in 96 acually, so you do have OBDII on your Disco.

Where is my OBDII

The benefit of this threads is to realize when you think you know your truck in and outside, it seems that I'm still missing many things. Well where is my OBDII as it came out in 96. My Disco a 98 V8 3.9 should have it. Except dust, there is nothing under my seat. Maybe the export models to Middle East are different????

OBDII port is under dash, it looks like an old computer parallel port.
