OBD II code P1496-EVAP system gross leak detected

glad to be here

Disco 1998 - 117400 miles
Driving home today the check engine light came on, plugged in my obd II and got this code
P1496- it said emmission control>>>>>EVAP system gross leak detected <<<<<<<<

can someone tell me how to fix this problem?

Can't be sure on this one, but I think this is where the gas cap is not tight.
