odd occurence

This is puzzling,my 89 rr stalls when going into reverse.It's my woods buggy now but not too handy without reverse.I ran it low on fuel,kept stalling,no big deal.Refueled,runs fine forward,stalls like you turned off the key in reverse,even with a coasting head start. Any thoughts? Skid03851

Odd stalling could be the flame trap or the 'T' in front of the intake needs cleaning.
