I was just driving home from abit of urban 4wdin in some puddles etc, and the light on the dash suddenly appears but it's strange that my temp gauge shows normal temps (the gauge seems to be workin fine)the light resembles temp.....btw i own a 93 se disco

could be just a short in the wire for temp from water....

what engine are you running?

its a 93 disco v8, with a 3.9 i think.....its a round symbol with somethin in the middle(resembles a themometer)....i'm buyin a lift kit for it today so i might ask A.R.B. what it might be....wierdeverything is runnin fine thou.

Seems to be a tranny temp lightswitch fault common with water trips....this was after i took it to A.R.B. and a rover tranny place........but i think i will still get a replacement even thou these places said that they wouldnt worry about it after they did a quick check.....ta joey for input
