P38 1998 Fuel Pump

i need to replace this fuel pump on my RR but it is so expensive to buy the whole fuel module. can't i just replace the fuel pump motor? thanx...:frown::help:

Yes, go to Advanced Auto and buy an Airtex # E3270 or an E 3240 for higher pressure and better performance, they are about $85.

I have seen several recommendations for aftermarket fuel pumps. Will they still work with the late 1997 and newer emissions systems? Thanks.
