I have a 2006 lr3 se7 and a couple of days ago the radio got stuck on phone mode and no matter what i do it wont come off...when i first start the car the radio comes on but in about a second it goes to phone mode and i dont understand why since i dont have the steering wheel phone controls and i would rather not have to take 1 hour trip to my dealer for something i might be able to do myself...tried pulling the phone fuse 52 but that didnt help and then unhooked the battery for a couple of hours to see if the radio might reset it self but that was no good either...any ideas, please help...i love my radio

i just realized that i didnt really do a full reset, all i did was disco the negative terminal off the battery and from what i read here i guess i am supposed to disco both terminals and bridge them with a jumper cable for 10 seconds or more, i will try it tomorrow morning and see if that works...wish me luck ...no radio sucks

did what i described above but cant seem to be able to reset the system...it must have a back up battery because the only thing that actually reset was the clock and now i cant get it on time since the display is locked in phone mode still...guess i'll have to take it to the dealer after all

Hi Adolfo.

I have the same problem. Did you manage to fix it? (if so, any clues as to how?)
