Rear Airbags are flat. Coil Conversion?

I have a 2000 Disco II with ACE. Can I convert my airbag suspension over to the coil suspension? I was looking up parts on some sites for the conversion, and one site had a disclaimer that the coil conversion would not work with the Disco's with ACE. Is this true?

As far as I know you can convert to coil with or without ACE...

Thanks Joey for the info, it's appreciated. This is my first land rover, so I'm a little new to the common issues. I'm just happy that there are sites like this one.

Does anyone know of a website that offers the coil conversion with the kit that disables the dash light? I checked a few, but they only sell the coil kit and leave the dash light issue up to buyer. Thanks again.

Okay it looks like I may have been wrong... Yes I admit it... I can't find any place that says a coil conversion will work on an ACE vehicle... I would call and ask why.

I guess I'll just stay with the current airbag system. I found some cheap ones on roverconnection.com, they were $115.00 each. That was the best deal I could find, just in case anyone else is looking for some. Anyway, thanks Joey for you help.

Well the plus is they are very easy to change... just remember to disconnect the hoses at the pump block first makes them much easier to put back together.

These land rovers have far too many accessories. I guess the Brits want to give us enough things to work on. I've had the 3 amigos since I bought the vehicle. I've read through the other threads on that, tried cleaning them. Still there. I have a mechanic for a nieghbor so he'll get the truck inspected. It's not like anything is wrong with it. I just have the three lights on all the f*%king time...

You can deffinatly convert your air suspensions without having any problems. We make an amazing product that comes with a lifetime warranty. The reason you were probally hearing it would not work with the ACE from other companies is probally because they are not as developed as our conversion kits are.
